I worked at BCT International full-time

    Pros

Decent first job, and bonuses are nice to have at Christmas.

    Cons

BCT Indianapolis makes employees work OT, but then take longer breaks to get rid of it at the end of the week. The same amount of work is supposed to be done on the shortened days.

    Advice to Management

If you are going to fire an employee who has acquired medical disabilities, you should give them appropriate notice and be honest with them. They should not be told they are laid off due to economic hardship, while new positions are opening up.

I worked at BCT International full-time

    Pros

Great franchise owners and a committed team at corporate office. The workplace location at the beach in Ft. Lauderdale is great. Parking garage is a plus.

    Cons

Not sure of the future viability when the company isn't opening new locations and many of them are closed each year. Ongoing litigation with franchise owners is not a good indicator of future success in my opinion.

    Advice to Management

Do something to get the company growing again. Open locations, quit suing the largest and some of the most successful franchise owners, put incentives in place for employees.

I worked at BCT International full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Fast paced, so time passes very quickly. Ability to work with many clients.

    Cons

Corporate doesn't understand the problems that the franchises have. No real career advancement possibilities.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees that are doing the work.
