Politically volatile without a solid supply chain direction.

    Pros

Production people and non-managers were hard working, caring, hopeful and had pride.

    Cons

Upper management was metric driven without purpose. Metrics for their own sake and not to provide a better outcome.

    Pros

Initial offer is usual on the high end. Can easily move from department to department. Small company with every major function within. Allows one to wander from dept. to dept. and absorb knowledge if one desires.

    Cons

Raises are minimal. Leaves you rather stagnant aroung the rate of your initial offer. Management (upper and lower) grossly over paid, especially lower. You'll find yourself as an employee knowing much more than a lower level manager. Know union so the amount of rights an employee has is limited and breached regularly.

    Pros

Good benefits, clean and safe working environment. Family oriented management that tries to take care of families. Many good hard working people.

    Cons

Some in upper management do not take responsibility and are not clear in their instructions or directions. Information is siloed.

A career with unfulfilled promises, finger pointing, and back-stabbing. Company is in a downward spiral!

    Pros

Ability to wear multiple hats. Opportunity for advancing one's knowledge.

    Cons

The Global Seating Aftermarket Group is in a downward spiral due to poor middle and upper management. AVOID! They continue to have lay-offs, starting back in spring of 2013, keeping only the young/new/less experienced employees to reduce costs. At the same time management continues to point fingers and stab their co-workers in their backs in attempt to keep their positions and/or to try to advance their position even though they are not stellar employees. The teams do NOT work well together, especially when there are cross-business groups (Aftermarket with OEM). HR is NOT for the employee, it is soley focused on requests of management!!! They will not investigate inter-office issues un-biased/truthfully. Pay was not commensurate with the roles/responsibilities given.
