- Learning and development budget - People outside of the team were very pleasant - HR did the best job that they could with the resources they had
Cons
- Bad middle management, communication and approach to the team. A team of 4 had 3 managers, so micromanagement was present on a daily basis. - Need to log activities to the full 8hr day (even for learning, courses, few mins calls with clients). Using Jira for wrong purposes - making invoices for clients and not project management - Poorly educated management in the BI field, they were more salespeople focusing on a client needs than leaders - Poor technical document, no knowledge sharing between individuals - Little bit outdated technologies, but that's dictated by client infrastructure, location and industries
