    Pros

    Great group of co-workers and the dress code is very flexible.

    Cons

    If you're not a certain grade you are overlooked at bonus time, regardless of how hard you work. Very disappointing to stay motivated.

    Advice to Management

    Include all of your employees at bonus time because you are losing some really valuable workers.

    if your under 55 and know somebody who works there already you may have a shot

    Cons

    interviewer was in bar fight and wouldnt hire me

    Advice to Management

    next time a person gets high scores on all your test and is qualified from working other steel plants, question your 2nd interviewers as to why the person wasnt hired

    Better then average pay, good benefits.

    Cons

    Ran extremely lean with management preaching one thing and doing the opposite.

    Advice to Management

    Put money back into the plants and hire people in. Cost increase short term with long term benefits.

    Pros

    -Nice base pay for the area (If you negotiate well).
    -Company match 401k.
    -3 tiered health benifits package offered with annual discount program.
    -Education reimbursement program.

    Cons

    -No one is held accountable, if someone doesn't want to do something, they just don't do it.
    -Executive management only receives feedback from top plant management.
    -Safety and quality are not first.
    -Corporate is located in Germany and is not responsive when asked for assistance or direction.
    -Communication to employees is lacking.
    -Bias runs rampid. If you are not in the "clique" you will not advance here. Policy is ignored/altered for certain employees.

    Advice to Management

    -Listen to all of your employees from the hourly positions upward.
    -Be consistent.
    -Monitor the department training programs, as most are not actually being performed.
    -Make sure the plant management has all the necessary lines of communication to Germany.
    -Hire competent management and provide company direction/expectation training.
