I worked at BHGRE Metro Brokers full-time

    Pros

You will gain extensive knowledge about GA real estate. This is a very structured and organized company.

    Cons

If you have a college education this is not the place for you. Very low pay. This place is a good fit for someone just leaving high school and wanting to get into the real estate field.

    Advice to Management

Learn to appreciate the hard working staff. Stop using people and burning them out. Compensate the staff, you can do better than jelly beans and whip cream. The petty behavior displayed by the president is embarrassing and unnecessary. Management has become experts in tearing people down.

    Cons

Commission split, high fees, corporate driven.

    Advice to Management

Try to remember that contractors are the nucleus.

I worked at BHGRE Metro Brokers as a contractor (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Training is a hallmark of the company.

    Cons

Difficult real estate market makes obtaining clients a time consuming and cost consuming business. Being a Realtor is not free - so if you don't sell something you don't get paid and you have monthly fees from your brokerage to pay. Your circle of friends, etc. is where you find your buyers and sellers. If your sphere of influence is made up of folks who are not qualified to buy a house or don't want or need to sell their house, you will find it difficult to build your business without spending a lot of money to attract buyers/sellers to you.
