I worked at BI WORLDWIDE full-time

    Pros

Great culture, progressive, good work/life balance

    Cons

Not all managers are on same page with policies/perks so some teams/BUs have much more "freedoms" than others

    Advice to Management

Make sure all managers interpret corporate policies the same way. don't assume because a manager or director seems super busy that they're actually being productive.

I have been working at BI WORLDWIDE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Outstanding products and offerings, deliverables you can believe in and have happy clients.
People stay here for a long time it seems.
    Room for growth and advancement.
    Innovation and creativity are awarded.
Benefits are good, summer concerts, food trucks, and such are fun.

    Cons

Could have better transparency on salary potential.
Dress code could be more relaxed still, or summer dress code for 5 months vs. 3.
Small team bonding could be more helpful.
20% 401k vestment per year is not great, should be 100% match day 1.
Work from home is limited to 1 day a week, should be more flexible.

    Advice to Management

Take your team out to breakfast or lunch more, get them outside of the cubicles and chatting and renewing energy every few weeks.

I have been working at BI WORLDWIDE full-time

    Pros

    Great Culture - fun, personal.
Company values align with my personal and professional values
    Excellent leadership
Unique company - large but small at the same time - large enough to provide financial stability, have a global footprint, do business with Fortune 500. Small in feel - feels like an agency, high level of accountability, people know your name and say hi.

    Cons

Not many job advancement opportunities. A relatively flat organization.

    Advice to Management

    Listen.

I have been working at BI WORLDWIDE (More than a year)

    Pros

Very data intensive environment with many different learning opportunities.

    Pros

Smart leadership. Smart colleagues. Great solutions that make our client's companies better. Positive employee environment (recognition and rewards, strong employee value proposition, parties and activities to up to fun factor).

    Cons

Working lean. Need to be smart to keep up with all that is going on. Could improve on learning and development for employees.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing with investments in technology and your people. Consider improving the opportunity to develop and grow.

I have been working at BI WORLDWIDE full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Can be interesting work combining social behavior, travel opportunities and sales incentives. Beware of lots of competition in this space though.

    Cons

Very expensive programs and sometimes we just end up giving the client all our creative ideas and solutions without a single dime of earned revenue. We also overkill the seminars and forums. Our targeted audience is fatigued by our constant invites. Management is pretty lean which should be a good thing but some of the VP's don't appear to contribute much other so good luck getting support.

Also, they seem to keep people around longer than they should doing sub-par work.

    Advice to Management

Is it more important to have a meeting that starts and ends on time or it more important to actually get something accomplished? I contend it's the former.
