I have been working at BJ Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I’m a field mechanic with 5 years total Oilfield experience . This is the best Oilfield employer I’ve worked for to date. They care about military veterans and are accommodating to you if a family emergency arises. I’ve been working here since February 2017 and have no plans on leaving . Good 401k plan, and 15/6 rotation is always honored. You’re not blackballed if you choose not to work days off like some organizations operate .

    Cons

It’s a recently launched company, there are some minor shortcomings. However, management has been actively engaged in addressing those issues and I continue to see positive changes every day .

    Advice to Management

Just ask for candid feedback from your junior management and boots on the ground employees, you can’t go wrong.

    Pros

Hours per week, Field Supervisors do not have integrity, & do not abide by protocols.

    Cons

Some Field Service Supervisors, Employee are disrespectful, and will try to harm you verbally and physically, Human Resource will push you out the door due to employees with no integrity.

Workplace violence is a serious matter that Field Supervisors do not take seriously.

Blowouts with the iron that they rarely inspect especially in North Dakota.

    Advice to Management

If you have an employee work the chain of command and tell you that they’ve been experiencing work place violence and discrimination it would be wise to take heed to those individuals.
