    Pros

The only pro is you get a free meal when you work

    Fast Paced

Feb 25, 2021 - Hostess in Corona, CA

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Very fast pace environment so if you want to learn and mold your customer service skills this would be the ideal restaurant, pretty easy to move up within the team, free meal every shift since hostess’ don’t get tips, great/open communication with management, Shifts went by quick due to constant parties coming in and out

    Cons

Never had a scheduled time to leave; if you just got there a couple hours ago and there’s either too many hostess or they don’t need you for some reason they make you go home, you pick up other people’s slack, can’t have piercings in or colored hair whatsoever (even natural colored dye) I had blonde at the front of my hair & my manager told me to dye it back since it looks unnatural (I quit), and drama (of course).

Negotiate for 12+ an hour or you will burn out

Aug 28, 2020 - Line Cook in San Antonio, TX
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

There is a clear path to train on stations for raises, free meal every shift. You can view recipes on any screen in the b.o.h. which makes learning the menu and ingredients easier than other restaurants Ive worked at.

    Cons

They will hire people for 9-11 an hr if they don't negotiate a good wage in the interview. After a month or 2 they realize how complex the menu is and you have to put in time outside of work learning the menu and recipes. Bottom line is they will take advantage of you if you let them.
