    Negative Outlook

I have been working at BMC full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Hourly pay is competitive and above average for most companies that pay drivers hourly. All the hours you could want and then some.

    Cons

If you're not Hispanic or speak Spanish you won't get far here as a driver. No one is organized, you get blamed for sales or dispatcher's mistakes, and while they preach safety no one will fix anything that breaks unless a motor or transmission goes out. Don't plan on having a life outside of work if you work here. This is your new life Monday through Friday.

    Advice to Management

Get new management. Get people who care. Get people who think about productivity for the future not just for the hour or the day. If you're going to pay mechanics they should fix things not MacGyver them, and if they can't fix it you should lease equipment.

    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at BMC full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Camraderie, fun, great home-work balance, flexible hours.

    Cons

No follow thru, have to request reviews, no raises since BK, upper management is only around to tell us what we've done wrong. What happened to profit sharing, affordable health insurance, and good retirement packages, celebrations and parties??

    Advice to Management

Value and compensate those who stuck by during the hard times. Quit bragging about being a billion dollar company when your workers can't afford milk and gas. Appreciate and hear your people doing the hard work! Quit treating workers like they're so easily replaced.
