I worked at BMO Harris Bank full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Immediate supervisor was great as were most of the people I worked with.

    Cons

Job was very boring; no incentive to go above and beyond, pay very stagnant, raises were minimal.

    Advice to Management

Stop posting company results bragging of the billion$s the company is making and then give out an annual 1% raise the next month. It isn't ALL about the already rich shareholders!!!

    Pros

The customers are awesome, and BMO wants you to have a relationship with them to show you appreciate their business.

    Cons

Push for sales and hitting all the talking points on each conversation. They do not properly staff branches which hurts the team.

I have been working at BMO Harris Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Okay Salary, Decently Okay Insurance, Good Hours, Worked with a great team

    Cons

Push Sales goals, Products are not up to par with competitors, Bad tech, Outdated systems, EXTREMELY conservative

    Advice to Management

If you want employees to meet goals- fix your out of date tech. STOP BEING SO CONSERVATIVE. this bank will deny anyone that doesn't have outstanding credit making it impossible to book loans. ALTHOUGH BOOKED LOANS ARE IMPERATIVE TO your sucess. Not only are they conservative there systems are so out of date
