    Pros

Many local investment centres are located throughout Asia, Europe and the Americas.

    Cons

The fund management business has poor results in terms of fund performance and management is very slow to change the investment teams.

    Advice to Management

The company should ease up on thick politics and base its culture more on meritocracy.

I worked at BNP Paribas full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Central location in Paris. Good company benefits (but I guess, it's thanks to the French law)

    Cons

I don't even know how to summarize the company's really poor corporate culture.
Women are officially underpaid up to 25% (this information is officially publshed by the internal unions). BNPP claims to be international but above minor team's management lever is only managed by French. It was shocking to see how openly it discriminates its Parisian employees according to their status (the support services were never invited to the general team events. Is it even possible in the moredn corporate world?). Employee's communication is close to zero. Being a foreigner in Parisian office is such a challenge as no welcoming information is provided by the local HR.
No long-term career progression, no training offered even is you have a right to the certain hours of training/year. Poor remuniration comparing to the anglo-saxon competitors. Internal mobility is favored by the local HR but you need to do their job and find a place yourself.

    Advice to Management

"Evolution is the only solution"...or degradation is inevitable.

I have been working at BNP Paribas full-time

    Pros

Bon CE pour les personnes avec enfants

    Cons

    Advice to Management

I have been working at BNP Paribas full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

  9. "Rémunération décevante"

    StarStarStarStarStar
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in Paris (France)

I worked at BNP Paribas full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Bon emplacement dans Paris. Bonnes horaires et rémunération correcte.

    Cons

Pas de perspectives de carrières. Trop de bureaucratie.

    Advice to Management
