I do liberty clearing house settlement and teaching co-worker about the settlement work and some other things

I have been working at BNY Mellon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Eligible to receive benefits immediately upon employment.
Global company that offers opportunities all over the world.

    Cons

Experience varies from location to location.
Work/Life balance is almost non existent. At my location we've been on overtime on and off (mostly on) for almost year.
Severely understaffed, unprofessional management, low moral.
Pay is not good and plus they company took away the incentive programs.
No clear path of upward movement, and it is hard to get promoted from this level.

I worked at BNY Mellon (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits are very good, such as: healthcare, life insurance, vacation, etc. and good job security as well. Provides you with a couple of weeks of vacation right when you start, which is nice.

    Cons

Management and supervisors, etc, play favoritism and do not treat everyone fairly. There is no movement up unless you are a favorite. There is a lot of backstabbing and gossip among the coworkers. This specific job provides low pay for what you do. No life/work balance.

    Advice to Management

Stop playing favorites and start appreciating all of your employees. This is the biggest problem I see there. People who aren't as qualified get special treatment because they have connections.

I have been working at BNY Mellon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

the benefits are decent, and meeting some nice people

    Cons

this place is VERY unprofessional to work at, the pay could be a whole lot more, the supervisors dont do their job right, to much favoritism at this job..not to mention the mandatory overtime even if you dont want to stay, I think it should be a choice...its the worse place to work at and I would never recommend anyone working there..the work hours are horrible and not being off on the weekend sucks...they have a HUGE turnover rate no one ever stays and now i see why

    Advice to Management

    they need better everything

    Pros

Great Benefits package. Not much else

    Cons

You will only advance in the company if you know someone. You will be talked to like you are a child. There is absolutely nobody that you can trust.

    Advice to Management

Just give up... Close the whole company.

    Pros

Great Benefits package. Benefits start day 1. Great 401k options. Overtime is plentiful (80% of the time) Interview process is about normal. Good luck.

    Cons

Mediocre pay. Ok management. No food or drink or mp3's to keep you awake if you work overnight. Company could do a lot better morale wise, but what do I know? I'm just a peon.

    Advice to Management

Don't always look down your nose at us. Allow MP3's. More notice if working late or getting off early. Fix cpu's.
