Laid back. 8-5 and relaxed. Good for people retiring

    Cons

There is no opportunity for growth. Managers are horrible and all they care about is getting the job done and not care about the employees

    Pros

Working in a very diverse and competitive team. It's a good position to start because it gives a broad glimpse of the funds industry in Luxembourg.

    Cons

A very manual job due to the very old systems we used. The hierarchy of the organisation is too vertical and the lack of communication between managers and officers is evident. Some of my colleagues did not have any knowledge in finance nor interest in learning any of it.

    Pros

Health insurance and pension contributions. Good annual leave allowance.

    Cons

Too many managers and Vice Presidents with not enough administrators to take on the workloads. Uneven distribution of work. Petty infighting . Poor salary and poor increases.

Ok place to start a career

Jan 6, 2017 - Anonymous Employee in Dublin, Dublin

    Pros

As a place to start a career it is fine. After a few years here should have enough experience to shop for other roles.

    Cons

Pay was poor, little understanding of what other parts of the business did. Biggest issue was future promotion opportunities were limited by lack of new business and not much turnover in managers.

    Pros

Excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement, PTO plus the option to purchase an additional week of PTO. Management works with you to develop your skills.

    Cons

Pay is very low, which leads to some employees being frustrated with their position. The disciplinary action process is extremely vague and some managers do whatever they feel with it.

    Nice Benfits Bad Work Environment

Nov 29, 2017 - Anonymous Employee in Dallas, TX

    Pros

This company gives nice benefits to all workers. The long time floor managers and supervisors are great even though they are not treated right and being replaced.

    Cons

Dallas office overworks us, gives low pay to most workers, and bad upper management in the past and current. They prefer cheap labor and gives up on experience help. Some people did get nice raises but most did not. They are moving jobs from the US to India. They like young workers for cheap wages. It is not a place for people who have been there for a long time and are aging and not for exp older workers. They hire younger workers over older workers. They are training new mgrs. supervisors by the older managers and will terminate the older exp mgrs. and supervisors once trained. It is becoming mostly run by men. This is not a place for women with goals nor for workers 40 and up. They took a place not ready for the amount of workers so many of us now have to be bused like migrant workers every day. We cannot go out for lunch without cars due to being bused. There are no places to eat walking distance. You are trapped in a building without windows and without a breakroom big enough for the amount of workers. Our only choices are to bring your lunch and take a risk of it being stolen or spend your money ordering lunch and having to pay for delivery or get a terrible lunch from the machines. The workers who have a car will not leave much because they cannot find a parking space when they return.
