I was so excited to take this job because I had heard BOLD was different from other agencies. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Leadership on my team was sorely lacking, and everyone was too busy being overloaded to pitch in to help a new employee learn the ropes. I got consistently positive feedback on my work but was still made to feel like a cog in a machine with no real chance for growth. Pay was poor and I was frequently expected to work overtime with no compensation-- even though BOLD has a policy to pay back overtime work, I was directly told by my manager that I should not use it. When I tried anyway, the request was ignored.

No clear plans, management not reliable and not accountable. E.g.: many promises about new AI-lead new projects, never happened and then, just out of the blue, fired high-performer people without a severance package, just as a gift for Christmas, despite announcing stellar revenues just a week before.
