    Pros

    - They are a fast growing company and place emphasis on promoting from within, which allows room for growth from any position. - The attention to detail and commitment to excellence in the kitchen is evident throughout the company.

    Cons

    - Training procedures are not always in place, which can mean that you miss out on some of the company culture and basics of service.

    Advice to Management

More training and communication across the board would go a long way towards making the company even better.

I worked at BRG Hospitality full-time

    Pros

Not many pros. Corrupt company only focused on money. Not interested in their people.

    Cons

Racist environment. Clearly segregated. Minorities not welcome unless effeminate or weaklings. Opinions not welcome. Management and Superiors clearly sleeping with Female employees who are kept around as eye candy. Money over everything. Look down on poor or minorities. Not a welcoming environment.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Word will spread about this corrupt company.

I worked at BRG Hospitality part-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

    Generally friendly management and kitchen.

    Cons

Unequal amount of work-sharing. Gave new employees from other restaurants the leisure to sit around while the full-time employees did all the heavy lifting.

    Advice to Management

Set more clearly defined roles to new staff who may be unfamiliar with the restaurant.

I worked at BRG Hospitality full-time

    Pros

The only positive was the employee discount for food.

    Cons

    - Extremely unprofessional - Experienced a great deal of uncomfortable circumstances involving upper management - Promotions and job opportunities were based off of connections and "playing the game" - Dangerous work environment for young women - No human resources department. The company has over 1,000 employees within their corporate office and 15+ restaurants - Felt that it was expected to cater to the men in...

I have been working at BRG Hospitality full-time

    Pros

People might think you have a good job, because you work for a decently well-known chef.

    Cons

-Many people you meet, specifically the company's upper management, will disappoint you. Charisma is often a substitute for substance. -Poor vertical communication. Most communication takes the form of gossip. -Formal training is haphazard or non-existant. -Bullying and harassment happens. Senior management turns a blind eye, or has taken an active role. -Unprofessional working environment, and especially unsafe...

I have been working at BRG Hospitality full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Learning experience and hands on with quality ingredients, can get experience on line and in production Nothing else positive to say

    Cons

Management is cocky and has a superiority issue. They take that and are rude to employees and interns and don't value their time or effort. They never admit when they are in the wrong and have even said that they have good lawyers so they aren't worried about being sued.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees especially those that come from schooling with degrees because they truly want to be there for a career not a quick buck. If you don't treat your employees with respect it will hurt your company in the long run because no one will want to work there.

I have been working at BRG Hospitality part-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

The money is fairly decent for a part-time gig, and you get a small meal before every shift starts.

    Cons

Hours can be fairly long sometimes, and you tip out 20% of your tips to food runners which is ridiculous.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of happy hour altogether
