I worked at BRITA full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Treat long-standing staff VERY well (8+ years). Try to align whole company culture. Good induction programme. Nice offices.

    Cons

The company culture is very happy clappy "we will go above and beyond etc" however this is imposed upon staff and does not come about naturally. It would be great if they truly inspired people to do this and not simply expected them to as part of their day to day. Why would anyone want to go above and beyond if they didn't feel valued and appreciated to do so?

There is no trust from German HQ to UK team. They do not understand/care that there are significant differences in markets and internal systems.

From senior manager to mid-level managers, they all seem to pass the pressure to team below. There is no spirit of supporting each other or working collaboratively. It is simply "don't care how it's done but get it done".

    Advice to Management

Focus on the people that are working to achieve your goals, not just the goals.

I have been working at BRITA full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Owner removing investment for Asia, but expects 4 x Market growth. No Trade Spend or product development and reduced Heads. 20+ hours a week free expected due to staff shortages

    Cons

My tries to improve business locally

    Advice to Management

Stop using staff to over achieve, don't expect more hours than you purchase each week.

    Pros

Great product and very loyal customer based. UK MD tries to make a good place to work, but you are expected to work 50 hours a week.

    Cons

Group is run by the spoilt son of the founder. Business makes fantastic profit, but is run on a shoes string meaning understaffed and NO work/life balance

    Advice to Management

you say all the right things but still always ask for the impossible within an unrealistic time frame AGAIN and AGAIN. You don't live what you say.

I worked at BRITA as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly motivated people, committed to both their customers & the company. Supportive line management. Great culture of inclusion.

    Cons

Staff like to stay at the company, so whilst retention is great, the result is fewer vacancies or promotion opportunities than the average manufacturing company.

Company recognises this & trains & develops staff for potential future vacancies within the business, or regretfully for an external career move, if that is right for the individual.

    Advice to Management

Continue being a people-focused industry within a manufacturing & sales environment.

    Pros

Solides mittelständiges Unternehmen mit großteils motivierten Mitarbeiter. Gute Kantine. Für AT Mitarbeiter Möglichkeit entweder höhere Vergütung oder Firmenwagen nach 6 Monaten Zugehörigkeit zu wählen. 13.
