    Pros

Good payment package for employees. Like company car, mobile phone, life insurance and extra money. Many teambuilding events. Foreign language lessons.

    Cons

The only thing that was defined was the finish date. Not enough parking places for employees. No state of the Art technology! Borring business

    Neutral Outlook

    Pros

    - Team ambiance
    - Colleagues
    - Salary is not bad for freshers

    Cons

    - Management
    - Career development and opportunies
    - Training

    Advice to Management

Old fashioned management, there's not much care for developers and the way of working is simply a 'do what I say because I say so'.
New opportunities and challenges are just not happening: you're a developer and mostly you stay as a developer in the same project.
    - No training offers at all.

I worked at BSB (Business Solutions Builders) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great Irish team environment, excellent bootstrap team leaders that trusted their teams, Free Phone, Free Broadband, 27 days holidays, free trip to Spa race track (in Belgium) for their 15th anniversary, free IPad, Business Cards, Astro, free coffee, Horse Show Friday.

    Cons

Salary was below market, code & frameworks were old and were never refactored/updated, management didn't keep their word. Very Very tight deadlines. Long nights put in trying to debug spaghetti code and deliver on time.

    Advice to Management

Honesty would be a good start.

I worked at BSB (Business Solutions Builders) full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Dublin office:
    - Free Work Phone
    - 28 Days annually leave
    - Excellent group of people like a family
    - Easy to advance

    Cons

    Global cons:
    - Documentation is a mess
    - Don't understand the OO model and persistence model must be in sync
    - pay is not consistent across offices
    - insist on using their framework instead of supported technologies like hibernate that are documented and do the job better.

    Advice to Management

Try planning ahead, and learn from past mistakes.

I worked at BSB (Business Solutions Builders) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Work phone
    28 days annual leave
    Nice people in Dublin office

    Cons

Went backwards as a developer having worked here!
    Management haven't a clue what they're doing!
    There's no organisation.
Staff are shown little or no respect from management.
Concerns and suggestions weren't taken seriously.
BSB are more interested in making money short term than improving the products with a view to greater profits in the long term.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your staff and up to date technologies, that's where you'll make your money. Cut out the lies.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Some of the employees are good people and have made life long friends!

    Cons

Everything, pressurized to the point of ridiculous, no clear path.
Useless management, no clear ideas, seemed everyone was chasing their own tale.
Left developing and became a Sys Admin after this experience.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to manage people. Your project management was atrocious, unrealistic deadlines for huge projects. Almost felt like putting plasters on real issues just to get it going.
