I worked at BSG Clearing Solutions as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

This was a good place to cut your teeth, especially to get well comfortable with a dynamic corporate environment. They seemed open and generally amenable to applying new strategies to dated technologies.

    Cons

Slightly stuffy environment, and basically no direction with their company culture. I don't think it was their fault necessarily because they are such a huge company, but maybe allow offices or particular portions of the company operate autonomously.

    Advice to Management

Broaden your horizons for company culture.

I worked at BSG Clearing Solutions as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

You can pick the hours you want, if the hours are available.) Work from home call center. Nice not to have to go to a brick and mortar business.

    Cons

Minimum hours are required, but hours not always available. You are required to work the hours you choose, but you can be asked to "log off" the call system if there is not enough calls coming through. I prefer to work if I have been required to be available for them. Be "available" but clock out early doesn't work for me. As a call center rep you could not work too many hours so the company would not be required to provide insurance/benefits.

    Advice to Management

Received a lot of emails from training department about "same old mistakes" occurring again and again. Warnings of being terminated came too often. Note to training department: when I was taking your training, your trainer talked and worked through the information too quickly. There seemed to be a real push to get everybody through the training and on the phones as quickly as possible, regardless of whether the trainee was ready. I found the training lacking and rushed.

    Pros

They pay on time. It is okay for now until you find something better. Able to work from home.

    Cons

Too much change with the clients. There is not a direct manager to refer to. There is no increase pay rate.

    Cons

You get a job for them but you're actually working for Voicelog. Look up Voicelog, their rating is 1.6 on Glassdoor.

    Advice to Management

Give your position to literally anyone else.

I worked at BSG Clearing Solutions as a contractor

    Pros

Working from home office. You make your own schedule.

    Cons

Raises are not given, you only hear from them through negative feedback. They will ignore and not respond to emails inquiring about a wage increase. When they decide to terminate you, there is no notice or reason given. Do not consider this a long term job, it will become very limiting in a few ways. Reading the same scripts day in and day out will soon become monotonous and the pay is stagnant. Scheduling is at a certain day and time each week, but many times the schedule is late on being released on that specific time so you are wasting time waiting for it to be available so you can choose your hours. You are competing with others who are picking their hours at the same time. If you are not right there when the schedule becomes available there is a chance hours that you wanted will not be there for you. You are not paid for this time. No benefits, no growth, tedious work.

    Advice to Management

In this growing economy with wages rising elsewhere, it wont be long until the experience and quality of applicants lowers even more. Treat your contracted workers better, raise the pay, give more positive feedback and in return you will get better results.

I have been working at BSG Clearing Solutions as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

    Very easy scripts to read.

    Cons

No Benefits. No Growth. Tedious work.

    Advice to Management

Unless you are able to grow the company into something more substantial, there's really nothing to say to Management. This company is stagnant with no real leadership to grow this company.

Flexible schedule. Cool environment. Good Work Ethics. Managers easily accessible. Freedom to express ideas. Creative People who take their work very seriously.

    Cons

Need to have a definite strategy. Need to employ more people to reduce the work load and try to give some time for the junior employees to get to know the system.

    Advice to Management

Good to see BSG Diversifying into other areas as well.
