    Pros

BSI has been an exciting place to work since I joined three years ago. It has been fun learning about the company, the industry and applying innovation across our business areas. BSI is “Inspiring Trust for a more Resilient World” and this shows through the passion and expertise of our employees throughout the world. It is also evident in the quality provided to our clients and in our commitment to sustainability throughout the global community. I have been working at BSI full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

BSI has an extremely rich history (100+ years) and because of that and the current work it does, it's also a well known and respected industry leader. especially in certification. The company is full of great workers and it seems everyone cares about your wellbeing and how things are going, especially in these times because of Covid19.

    Cons

Aggressive sales goals, a bit disjointed with all the different offerings from consulting, to software, to auditing. Each one has 15+ products or services.

    BSI Response

    July 20, 2020Human Resources

Thank you for your helpful and positive feedback regarding BSI specifically, our colleagues, focus on wellbeing, and reputation in the industry. BSI continues to seek ways to ensure our purpose, “Inspiring Trust for a more Resilient World”, is front and center in how we work with and represent our colleagues, clients, and community. To fulfill our purpose, it is necessary that BSI is harmonized across our internal teams to ensure our client mission is met in the most effective and meaningful way. We continually review BSI’s internal alignment to meet the needs of the business and the clients we support, including cross-stream collaboration. Wellbeing is at the core of our daily work life, and this includes but is not limited to a global employee assistance program, a mental health first aid certification program as well as mental health awareness training. The impact of COVID has been especially challenging, prompting BSI to think innovatively and with agility for clients and employees. Many colleagues echo your feedback in terms of how BSI has responded to the pandemic, internally and externally. Your advice and input is greatly appreciated and we encourage you to reach out to your manager or HR Business Partner to talk further.
