I have been working at BSN Sports full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great culture and energy. Good, hardworking people. Managers understand family / work balance. Good vacation time. Pay is on par with standards. Strong Leadership that is fast moving and innovative.

    Cons

A nice benefit would be allowing the week of winter break off. Schools are closed so seems like it is appropriate timing and would be a nice perk. 401k company contribution needs improvement.

    Advice to Management

    Revisit the retirement plan, please.

I worked at BSN Sports full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company Culture (for Sales Pros) is positive. Great people with similar passion for student athletes and programs. Nice employee discounts on merchandise.

    Cons

Horrible pay structure, inability to work efficiently within the scope of the position, work/life balance is only possible if you commit to turning off phone during night, weekends, holidays.... and you won’t meet customer deadlines/needs. Burnout is inevitable if you want to make a respectable salary.... which is not very respectable in most cases.

    Advice to Management

Identify quality sales professionals and provide an adequate compensation package. The investment in retainment would be worth it. Happy Reps=Profitable Reps. Frustrated Burned Out Reps=No profits and another new hire training class.
