I have been working at BSN Sports full-time

    Pros

There are no pros to this company. You would do better working for in a third world company

    Cons

Racist, liars, good old boys club that is building the company on the backs of the minorities, low paid warehouse and other employees, poor working conditions, managers are backstabbers, bonuses for managers ridiculous while other employees have to apply for food stamps and can not afford health insurance. Host million dollar sales meetings while excluding the low paid staff.

    Advice to Management

Sell the company to someone who cares more about people than money!

    Pros

Discounts, I don't recall any other pros.

    Cons

Toxic environment; HR Management is unethical

    Advice to Management

People need jobs so they stay. Have to reclaim the company by getting upper management across the board in order. The Head controls the body and the body is failing.

I worked at BSN Sports full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Discount, really nothing else at all

    Cons

Everything else. Management is a joke, especially director of sales. Always talks about how he goes to bat for his employees, but he is a weasel. You can do everything right and they still find an issue. Always micromanaged even though they say they want you to run your territory like it is your own business, what a joke. Pay isn't that great and no room for growth. I don't recommend at all. Focus too much on call numbers and not quality of calls, if your making numbers get off our backs.

    Advice to Management

Stop micromanaging, if something Is working for a territory don't try to add your input and change it, YOU DON'T WORK IN THE TERRITORY EVERYDAY LIKE THE TMs. Clean house, of you have a manager that says they will go to bat for their employees make sure he will and not stab them in the back.

I worked at BSN Sports full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I can't think of any pros about this job! I hated every minute of my short three months here.

    Cons

Management is a joke reported an incident where another employee threatened to stab me and her reply was "oh she was probably joking" This place is like a revolving door thats why they are constantly hiring 20 people at time. Out of those 20 18 will quit within a week. Make you work in a warehouse with deplorable conditions. Unfair to employees of other races. Worst job ever! They are a a bunch of liars and will make up lies to cover themselves! Doesn't mind breaking the law to be evil because they are mad that you quit so they hold employees W2 formsand final paychecks out of spite.

    Advice to Management

clean house and start over with better managers and supervisors. Also needs to have managers stop showing favoritism to certain employees.
