I worked at BT full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

BT is one of the best known brands in he UK and as such great for marketing experience. Some of the people provide a wealth of experience and passion which make BT a good place to work. Experience here opens the door to many opportunities and builds a solid contacts book. Relatively good salaries, benefits packages, good amount of holiday and depending on your your line manager, option to work from home a couple of days a week if you choose to.
They still offer good redundancy packages if you've been there for above 6 years.

    Cons

Inconsistency across all lines of business as to what good looks like. I worked with some very over promoted, ridiculously paid individuals with very limited capabilities. Performance management is a laughing stock. Bullying and favouritism evident. Arrogant management team.

    Advice to Management

    They wouldn't listen.
