    Pros

Fun group of very smart people, exciting clients to work with, nearly unlimited challenges in constantly varying work.

    Cons

Can be stressful when many projects on deadline crunch. Lots of Travel (though could be a pro as well, depending if you like to travel) Destinations often vary (not a typical consulting model where you travel to the same place week after week Monday - Thursday)

I worked at BTS full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The people are incredibly talented and a lot of fun. The work is very challenging.

    Cons

Work/Life balance can be a serious issue at this company. They say they recognize teams over people, but all raises and bonuses are based on individual performances not team. They value sales and profits over everything else. Employee loyalty means nothing to them.

    Advice to Management

More transparency. The company handles lay offs terribly. Sending an email after lay offs saying the employees had no long term career potential at the company after someone has worked there for almost ten years is seriously degrading. Be honest with your employees. Be smart enough to book different conference lines for lay offs, so people don't call in the middle of you being let go.

I worked at BTS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Tons of learning, wide array of industries, clients and project
Fast pace, both demanding and engaging
Exposure to senior levels of an organization
Combines both analytical and soft skills
Very interesting people, great and fun environment

    Cons

Can be overwhelming at times, work-life balance is not optimal
If you need brand recognition or the fortune 500 big name you won't have it here, great portfolio of clients though
Partners can be to distant from the day to day of consultants

    Advice to Management

Take care of the work-life balance of your employees
Pay is not as competitive compared to the workload and the market
