I have been working at BUCA part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Laid back, good learning environment, safety

    Cons

Low wages, corporate couldn't care less about employees, very money centered, no chance of advancing because corporate tends to only hire outside applicants, no benefits, hourly can't actually work full-time

I have been working at BUCA part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Easy family style food. The menu is simple to remember and serve.

    Cons

Holidays are mandatory. Don’t work here unless you are willing to sacrifice time during EVERY holiday. Corporate really doesn’t care and I know business is all about money but this one takes the cake. They set unrealistic goals for stores, make management and employees work beyond their title, and even if you do everything right, you did it wrong. They lay off their higher paid employees and then distributes those duties to the lower paid employees to save money. They have a lot of expectations that contradicts each other. Their is no way of doing anything right.
