I have been working at BUCA part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Upbeat environment, make you learn insane knowledge about ingredients but pays off in the long run

    Cons

Secret Shoppers would come in and test your knowledge....not bad though.

I have been working at BUCA

    Pros

Pay is pretty decent for the amount of hours you work. Family style meals make serving somewhat easier. Most people that come in are regulars and treat employees good.

    Cons

Lower management does a great job. Higher up management needs to have better communication skills with employees. You have to work nights and weekends to make good money.

    Advice to Management

Communication needs to be better. upper management needs to treat its workers better . The night usually goes better when assistant manager is working and/or supervisors.
