    Pros

Flexible and management appreciate child care needs. Investment in training in fantastic. Great team culture. Function is well linked across organisation.

    Cons

Pension could be better to attract and retain more people. It was a factor in decision to move on which is a shame.

    Advice to Management

Pension needs review in order to attract and retain talent.

I have been working at Babcock International Group as a contractor

    Pros

Currently I am employet on a temporary contract with Babcock in Tidworth. The job is varied but the people are great. Our team leader is the most patient and supportive person I have worked with in a very long time. Other coĺleauges from the Bristol very frequently and they are all very friendly and supportive.

    Cons

The job is only temporary before being relocated tof Bristol which is too far to travel on a daily basis.

I worked at Babcock International Group as a contractor

    Pros

Very Supporting Management and Finance Team. There is a wealth of knowledge held. The management for all departments was very approachable and easy to get on with and fix issues

    Cons

Some of the internal processes had suffered from years or probably just not being reviewed in whole. The result was a difficult web of long winded processes that make the month end process longer than it needs to be. All very fixable though and I started to prove in my final months.

    Advice to Management

Maybe just have a look at some of the consolidation work that needs to be completed between NZ and the UK. This is troublesomely time consuming,

I worked at Babcock International Group full-time

    Pros

Got as much, if not more reaponsibility as a placement student than a grad. Met very senior people and got involved in interesting projects. Moving department was easy if you wanted to.

    Cons

Slightly stale and boring culture for young people, however the young people who did work there were interesting and socialising outside of working hours very possible

    Advice to Management

Consider increasing placement student pay to attract quality applicants. Consider taking on placement students in strategy functions

I have been working at Babcock International Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My development has been actively encouraged since I stepped into the office from day 1. There is a lot of opportunity here to embrace different roles and enhance your skill set. The atmosphere is up beat and the future certainly looks bright. Individuals need to drive their development and the business will assist any way it can. So far it is all really positive and the best career move to date.

    Cons

It would be lovely to have a canteen or more seating outside so we can eat our lunch away from the office. The kiosks are convenient though.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work giving your employees the opportunity to thrive and develop their skills in their roles and embrace the opportunities outside of the roles such as working groups, review panels and STEM.
