    Pros

    A lot of the employees are very committed to making sure the guest's have an excellent experience.

    Cons

    Executive management is embarrassingly incompetent and they are so cheap that they don't staff adequately or pay well enough in order to provide the experiences that the guests are paying for.

    Advice to Management

    Pay as much as your comp sets, and staff accordingly for the type of business you pretend to be.

    Such a beautiful place to work, great experience for those pursuing hospitality.

    Pros

    Beautiful setting and friendly co workers. Room to move up and opportunities to work in multiple positions. Quality training.

    Cons

    Sometimes a "don't be seen or heard" vibe, which is unfortunate but understandable in the hospitality/service industry.

    Pros

    The setting was peaceful and the guests and members were great.

    Cons

    I had to answer to a supervisor that didn't even have a college degree and had zero experience. Co workers were bad mouthed by supervisors and other co workers. Friends of the supervisors were favored. There never was a happy/fulfilled vibe from anyone. I rarely heard anyone being uplifted or appreciated. Co workers spoke rudely to each other.

    Advice to Management

    Your employees need to be treated equally. Work on being approachable by your employees. More clear communication with procedures

    Pros

    Very friendly staff, makes you feel like family. High dollar guests led to big tips. Good discounts on property for employees

    Cons

    They were in the process of changing owners and cut costs in ways that made longtime repeat customers constantly dissatisfied. The angry guests made it hard for me to do my job.

    Advice to Management

    Make careful consideration in where you choose to make cutbacks. You have a practically legendary brand in the Bacara name and it is a shame to cheapen that.

    hospitality so expected to work holidays/weekends, seniority given for holidays off

    Great location, excellent facilities, free lunch.

    Cons

    Turnover is nonstop and no effort to truly change it.

    Advice to Management

    Train your staff well enough that they can go anywhere, treat them well enough that they never want to leave.
