I worked at Bacardi full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Great Benefits/ Great Brands/ learned A lot!

    Cons

Terrible Management, very poor communication, No Leadership and No opportunities to move to different departments. You're Being Micromanaged by your Managers!! You Get Turned Down for a Raise Without Much Explanation. Bully-style management, Yelling at subordinates, especially during meetings or in public spaces! Good Luck on consulting with your HR, they lack resolving any issues.

I have been working at Bacardi full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Historical culture is in the DNA of most employees. Family, sense of ownership, motivation to take the leap and transform

    Cons

Change can be challenging when you work with many different brands that have joined the family over time, but this makes the job even more interesting

I have been working at Bacardi full-time

    Pros

Benefits are okay, healthy budgets for On-Premise, get to take cool trips occasionally

    Cons

Where do I start? Management is abysmal, it’s like pulling teeth to get anyone to give me a call back or return an email, but at the same time they love to micromanage over irrelevant minor details. Also, they do not pay competitively for the Account Manager role, it is actually the lowest in the industry for the area from what I’ve gathered. They don’t cover any sort of expenses or gas related to maintaining your vehicle and the car allowance is $600 which is then taxed which ends up being a little over $300 a month. I end up paying around $400 for gas and $240 for insurance so it doesn’t even cover a fraction of my monthly car expenses. By far worst management I’ve experienced in the industry and the most unorganized. Not sure if it’s an isolated problem but a lot of my coworkers experience the same issues.

I worked at Bacardi full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Company paid health plan, good PTO offering, great coworkers.

    Cons

Tanking brands. Management was abusive and incompetent. Continuous layoffs made it for the lowest morale I've witnessed in my career.

I have been working at Bacardi full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

great company culture, brand teams are accessible and for most part are eager to help.

    Cons

Could do a better job at getting their commercial team over to distilleries. Have been with a company for over three years and still havent made it to PR (motherland).....yet ambassadors who don't have any commercial goals/budgets/kpis have made it at least a few distilleries

I worked at Bacardi full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Bacardi is a family owned company filled with passionate people. People work hard and like to play hard

    Cons

Bacardi is behind the curve on innovation and operates on favoritism. Being family owned makes them antiquated in their approach to HR and the ability to value leadership holistically. If and when they are able to value true leadership contribution they will be more of a leader in this space
