I have been working at Baggage Airline Guest Services part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Seasonal posistions, job security, simple but laborious work, great paid training, good office supervisor, port/airline training

    Cons

Part time, no benefits, hard manual labor in extreme outdoor climates, no breaks, low hours, 24 hour notice of when you will work

I have been working at Baggage Airline Guest Services full-time

    Pros

Very easy job for $11.60 an hour (and it's entry level, too). Best of all, it's the job of one person. You can even pick up an extra shift to get your full 40 hours. It helps pay the bills better.

    Cons

They shouldn't require sick employees to bring a doctor's note their following shifts if they were found sick working on the clock. If they didn't show up, then it's understandable that you have to bring a doctor's note. Also, no paid time off even when natural disasters occur.

    Advice to Management

I understand Bags is not a sales driven company, but they should provide paid time off when employees have personal emergencies (or serious illness) or natural disasters occurring. They have bills to pay.

I worked at Baggage Airline Guest Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pretty laid back company. No hard deadlines and nice coworkers. Job was never hard and there was a lot of free time to work on other things. Got to see a lot of projects the company has.

    Cons

Uses outdated technology and hardware. A lot of positions were entry level so people were still learning a lot and no one was an expert at most tech.

    Advice to Management

Give raises more frequently and try to update software and hardware to attract new talent so other people can learn from them.

    Pros

The only positive is that you might meet a few decent people.

    Cons

Managers expect the runners to do their work for them. No accountability at all from management or runners for that matter. Toxic work environment where it is every person for themselves. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this.

    Pros

A large company with multiple divisions, yet still small enough to feel like you know everyone. Good experience in the travel and tourism industry. Management is willing to hire less experienced candidates and train them to suit the position.

    Cons

Benefits are not great, organizational structure can be confusing. Communication is sometimes lacking between departments.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in the welfare and retention of employees, from the lowest level to the highest level employee. Yearly reviews and raises, fair pay, better benefits, etc.

I have been working at Baggage Airline Guest Services full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule. Located on Disney Property. Great people all around. A sense of team. Decent hours. Some locations are 24 hours so they can cover just about any kind of schedule.

    Cons

True upward mobility is nearly stagnant. It's very clear that the "top" has an inner circle and if you're not in it, you won't be going anywhere. No reinvestment in employees, at all. No benefits whatsoever if you're not salaried.
