    Pros

Great work-life balance, supportive coworkers, excellent guidance and a great working environment.

None noted up to this point.

    Advice to Management

Keep moving in the right direction. Audi is an excellent leader.

    Pros

    Competitive Pay
Excellent Benefits, 4 weeks of vacation, profit sharing, great healthcare, bonuses
Provided adequate time to study for exams

    Cons

Highly political environment. Seems like promotions are based on personal relationships with managers rather merit. Seniors have a significant amount if influence with hiring/firing decisions. Partners are out of touch with their firm's Elitist mentality. Upper management pressures staff to leave if they don't fit the firm's ideal profile (though delayed promotions and other passive-aggressive methods).

I worked at Baker Newman Noyes full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Many nice people and an overall small but respected accounting firm. Efforts are made to engage employees via periodic "fun" events that seem to fall flat.

    Cons

Very much a class system. New employees are untrusted while many who have been around longer engage in ironclad cliques based on title. Management, including senior management is invisible other than to other management. A quiet tension is always present and there is an undercurrent of fear of job loss if too many questions are asked or if the 'wrong people' push for advancement. A sense of community is completely missing with the exception of a small few long timers. Drab offices and work environment with the feel of going to work at the Borg ship, if the Borg were only slightly more Human.

    Advice to Management

We're guessing management doesn't bother reading these things. If so, they'd likely not move to change anything.
