    Pros

Great hands on experience, got to work on returns and audits for real clients. Great pay and the company culture is very relaxed and welcoming.

    Cons

Any job in accounting is time demanding, but that was to be expected. Other than that, nothing to complain of.

    Advice to Management

Continue with the great culture. Also continue with the summer internship program.

I have been working at Baker Tilly International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Liberal leave and nice people.

    Cons

Pay is terrible. I took a $2.00 an hour pay cut to work day shift and I only got a .30 cent an hour raise. It will take me 6 years to get to that salary again.

    Advice to Management

My pay should be over 30,000 a year , get with the program Baker Tilly. I should be making at the least 28,000 a year!

I worked at Baker Tilly International as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company really had a great atmosphere and cares about their people. They are constantly growing with no signs of stopping and are willing to accommodate to anyone.

    Cons

The glaring issue with the company is that they do not have full grasp on HOW to manage their people. They genuinely want to help them, but the communication and management is not the best.

    Advice to Management

Focus just as much making sure people are happy with their jobs as they are with the people / culture they work with,

    Pros

The people and culture at this company were great. It was a great internship program overall.

    Cons

The work is very accounting based. If you are not an accounting major, it may be hard to move up.

    Advice to Management

Give the interns more experience working across the three different practices: Government Contracting, Business Information Systems, etc.
