I worked at Bakers Delight part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Generally nice as long as your are a hard worker. Would allow staff benefits such as easter buns and christmas tarts. On end shifts - workers can receive a loaf of bread, 1 single serve product and 1 product of their own choice

    Cons

Quite strict, won't allow bigger staff benefit, may shout at employees, may pressure you into shifts if not enough staff. Low pay.

    Advice to Management

Hire more staff and treat them better

Great people to work with, fun environment and great skills learnt from first job
People are easy to work with, but of course is subject to location that you work in

    Cons

Difficulty getting more shifts as you get older, definitely a stepping stone
Management at times difficult to work with, especially asking for more shifts

I worked at Bakers Delight full-time

    Pros

Good pay and we could take whatever breads were left when we had closing shifts. Nice customers

    Cons

Your shoes will get dirty very easily and strict uniform policies. After work your hair is messed up because of the hat that we had to wear.

    Advice to Management

More trainings to the sales staffs if they want to increase their sales. Upselling was the most stressful thing ever

Decent amount of shifts to go around. Coworkers are often very lovely and dedicated to good service and being bright and happy.

Not a very friendly environment. Expected to stay back after hours with no extra pay. Very strong attention to detail, in a tedious way.

    Advice to Management
