    Pros

Good money if you put the work in

    Cons

Management is refusing to evolve. When sales are down, they have you hammer more calls. At the end of the day, the company is run by one man and what he says goes. Trying to make suggestions for change internally is like asking God to change the weather. Maybe he hears you, but it's not your decision to make.

    Advice to Management

Time to evolve. Be more transparent with your customers. One of the reasons your sales are always a problem is you dont consult your vendors or customers, you just make changes and expect them to accept it. Also, the deception in the direct business is killing your reputation with vendors. Time to end the vendor program or change the business model if direct sales isn't willing to be forthcoming on rates, terms, etc. Sadly, I know that even if this review is read, it won't be taken seriously.

    Pros

none at all..this place is horrible!

    Cons

This company treats there employees the same way they treat their employees, like crap! They lie to their customers about fees, contracts, and guidelines. Management is a complete joke. Nobody at tgis company knows what they are doing and they just make up procedures as they go. There is NO ROOM FOR GROWTH! NO RAISES EVER, AND DO T EVEN THINK SBOUT REQUESTING A DAY OFF! Wish I would have taken unemployment before accelting a job here.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees as tou would want to be treated. Rather you know it or not you have alot if miserable unhappy employees.

I worked at Balboa Capital full-time

    Pros

Depending on your department, you are not micro managed. Fun place to work and nice building. Good training program that is paid.

    Cons

Hard to find good quality accounts, a LOT to learn if you are not from the finance background and you might feel like you have lots of questions that can't be answered later on. A GRID of work, I was making 150 calls a day and got burned out.

    Advice to Management

Give more incentives to sales people to work for.

    Pros

Set schedule ( M-F). Opportunity to make good margin per deal closed. 11 paid holidays off. Takes about three years to really begin making some real good money.

    Cons

Poor management. Horrible company culture, unless you are part of the top 2% producer YOUR JOB IS NOT SECURE. Company has a bad reputation so do not expect the name to carry the deal.

    Advice to Management

Change your employee structure and begin appreciating your employees.

I worked at Balboa Capital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No great reasons to work for this company.. but a bag of cookies from the President on Christmas Day..

    Cons

Everything about this company is wrong, unethical, with the worse management possible. You will come across with the most under-educated "Managers", super materialistic (because no one cares about your materialistic items) that act childish and unprofessional and that of course, will not care about you.

They will expect the MOST from you with hardly any training or support.

Managers will train people to rip off other people by lying to them, cheating, and saying things to customers JUST to make a deal and get commission.

Since day one working here, the company has been in many lawsuits in which no one knows because they want to maintain a "positive reputation."

The highest paid person there has committed fraud dozens of times to make money and can always "get away with it."

Management does not care about their employees because in their own words.. "everyone is replaceable."

You will feel under-appreciated, stressed, and not being valued at all..

Hardly any motivation, promotions, a ladder to move up, and/or incentives (Just President's Club, in which you can't hit those ridiculous high sales numbers unless you rip people off..)

Overall, you will be forced to be a slave, do unethical sales that will break your conscience at a such under-paid wage with a horrible commission structure.. do you really want to work at a place like this?

Just take your time in looking for a job that will appreciate you, your education, values, and what you're worth. This job is not worth it...

    Advice to Management

Worse management I have ever come across with. McDonald's has better management than this place. Highest turnover and yet they don't care.
