I have been working at Baldor Electric full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

One good thing about this company is that they have been in business for a 100 years. This helps creat stability.

    Cons

The bad thing is just like so manny other manufacturers, the jobs are slowly being replaced by cheaper labor or robots.

    Advice to Management

Place more value in your employees. When they are treated as though they are not wanted there it really deflates one’s eagerness to put. A lot of effort into their job.

I have been working at Baldor Electric full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

They will hire people without a lot of experience

    Cons

They want to hire everyone as a temp and even full time employees start off with 1 week of vacation. To say they are cheap is an understatement, machines are falling apart and they keep band aiding them to try and keep them running. The good old boy system is rampant in the company and the plant. Spineless management that will not deal with real problems.
