The management has figured out how to create a great collaborative culture in a cutthroat industry.

The fund has not built out all the different types of investment strategies as much it’s larger competitors, but has made a lot of progress. Performance is therefore less diversified and there is slightly more risk the firm will underperform and not offer as much job stability.

Went on a torrid hiring spree and now heavily overstaffed. Management coming in is from Citadel which typically spells the end of a business's culture and edge. Culture in NYC office is depressing with few people on the investment side talking with one another. Getting rid of people who have been there a long time and built the culture of the firm
