I have been working at Banco Itaú as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Working here is great! The environment is very friendly, yet competitive. The company promotes personal growth through a plethora of optional trainings and seminars.

    Cons

There is a big rotation of employees, as progress within the bank is very slow. However, personal progress is as quick as your commitment

I worked at Banco Itaú as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Awesome people, lots of stimulus for learning stuff (you often got paid to watch academic presentations), good salary with lots of benefits. Hours are OK depending on what exactly you do. People got promoted a lot. Management was great.

    Cons

It took a reeeally long time for people to reach management roles. Most managers were folks who went through the bank's "trainee" program and, afterwards, worked as analysts for 8-10 years. That's understandable since the company's so huge.
