I worked at Bandalier part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Bandalier was a great experience for me all around. I learned so much about sales and enjoyed working for a start up. The company culture was unparalleled, everyone was so friendly and dedicated to helping me succeed. The hours are flexible and they made work from home convenient and easy. Overall, I'd highly recommend, especially if you are a BU student looking for part time work!

    Cons

    Cold calling isn't for everyone!

I have been working at Bandalier full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I started working at Bandalier when there were around 15 employees and a year later were up to 70! It’s an amazing company with great potential - the numbers don’t lie! If you’re looking for a job that will help you grow your communication skills, sales skills, or just yourself this could be a great opportunity. It’s a fun culture and management is always open to hearing your ideas on how things could be changed or improved which is something that is hard to come by. Great training so you really feel like you know what your doing when you start out on your own and if you ever have questions everyone is willing to help you out.

    Cons

Not really a con but it’s a start up so things are always changing (which can be fun!)

I worked at Bandalier part-time for less than a year

    Pros

From day one, everyone at Bandalier was so welcoming and friendly. Jeremy, Matt, and all of the senior members of the team took the time to thoroughly train me and answer any questions I had, big or small. The energy in the office was great, everyone getting along and helping each other out, and we would often hang out outside of the office. Everyone wants to see you grow, and will listen to your input about both the company and your own career trajectory. When I wanted additional responsibilities (such as to write blog posts and client testimonials) they were more than happy to give me the opportunity to do so. When I left Binghamton for the summer I was given the opportunity to work remotely, and it still felt like I was a part of the team. This is a great place to work whether you are a college student looking to work part-time or a seasoned sales representative looking to further your career and experience Bandalier's rapid growth.

    Cons

I think as a start-up Bandalier is still developing systems and procedures for how to do things, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing; it means that everyone is always open to new ideas and constant improvement (KAIZEN).

I have been working at Bandalier part-time for less than a year

    Pros

-Awesome management who are truly some of the smartest/most highly trained sales professionals in the business -Management will happily answer any questions/concerns you may have in regards to your workflow or the company as a whole. In my own experience working at Bandalier, management/more experienced professionals have always been extremely receptive to any questions -As long as your efficient in the workplace, flexible with some changes in the daily work process (which comes along with working at any start-up), and show genuine devotion to your work, Bandalier is more than willing to be flexible with your work hours/other professional obligations as long as asked in a fair, respectable manner -A very positive, electric, driven work environment -free, actually good coffee...what's better than that

    Cons

-Startups aren't for everyone, you may have to adjust to change, and have an open-mind to it -Deming training process may feel rigorous at times, but in the long-run is necessary to help one build the skills need to become a successful sales associate

  8. "Amazing Company with huge growth potential that is helping to grow the Start-Up community in Binghamton, NY"

I have been working at Bandalier full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Bandalier has huge growth potential and has expanded rapidly in my year and a half here. They also have a ton of room for career growth within the company, which they told me up front in the interview, and they meant it. If you put in the work and listen to the feedback you can quickly become part of leadership and be promoted. I loved the interview process as well, even if it was hard, because it showed me that they truly are looking for the right people to create the best culture possible. I love that the culture is so important and that continuous growth is ingrained into the business. This is a true inside sales organization (NOT a call center) that thinks outside of the box, which is perfect for bringing out creativity in people. Bandalier does a lot of outside of the box thinking which makes it a fun environment. It's a great opportunity for local college students to make money, learn sales skills, get job experience for their resume, and even earn credits for working here! It's also great for people who live in the community who are looking for a career, such as myself. I've been offered numerous positions since I've been here and even though they pay more I've turned them down, which says a lot about what I see for Bandalier's future. I think the sky is the limit and there will be huge opportunities for those who get in on the ground floor. This is a start up so we are truly building a company from the ground up, which gives the employees a lot of say into how the company runs. It's great to see an employee be able to go up to the CEO with an idea and him listen and implement it if it makes sense. I've worked a lot of places and I've never seen this before. It shows that Bandalier is completely transparent. I've also never seen them lie or try to mislead anyone, they are honest and to the point. It really is the best company I've ever worked for, and I plan on being here for a long time.

    Cons

Again, this is a start up so not every policy is in place. They are quick to respond to feedback so if anything is needed or lacking it is fixed quickly.

I have been working at Bandalier full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Unbelievable company. Had no intention of staying in Binghamton but this company convinced me to stay. The management is amazing. They are young, innovative, incredibly open to feedback, flexible, and constantly looking to improve processes around the company. They are very experienced and have a lot of business/sales knowledge while also having the youthful energy for a bold vision of what a new american workplace could look like. Flexible hours, good perks, great culture, set your own goals, fun place to work, and a tonnnn of room to grow. Also, free coffee!!! Really great at adapting your role to your interests. Great initial training program that prepares anyone for a career in sales, lots of continuing education, and an amazing leadership training program as well. Bottom line is this business is growing very fast and if you live in upstate NY you're going to want to get in before it pops off.

    Cons

It's a startup so there are typical startup organizational problems. We are getting fairly large and don't have an HR department yet which can be a struggle at times. Having to work for not just the company but another client can make it tough to be as flexible as the company would like in terms of culture. The company is growing fast so it can be a tough balance between trying to find the right people for the job and filling the role in a timely manner. This should get easier with time, and is aided by the company's strict interview algorithm but it can still be tough at times.

I worked at Bandalier part-time for less than a year

    Pros

I started here in the summer of 2018 when there was less than 10 employees as a part timer and it quickly grew to over 40 employees by the time I left 1 year later. It has a fantastic training program where you learn all the essentials of sales. Amazing environment with friendly employees that are all hard working and driven to progress and learn and motivate each other. Both management and the owner help to give constructive feedback and really take the time help you grow your professional career. Overall an incredible experience and would recommend to anyone looking to pursue a career in sales or data analytics.

    Cons

As expected out of a startup that grew so quickly there were some organizational issues but management has taken leaps and bounds to fix these issues
