    Pros

Very good company to work for with many great opportunities for growth. When relocating for personal reasons it was very easy to transfer and work in other states. Managers in all department were helpful and very knowledgeable. Tuition reimbursement, child care and work life balance were part of the company's ways of showing they care about their associates. Great place to start a career.

    Cons

None at the time to report.

    Advice to Management

Continue to be great making BOA a great company.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Company provided laptop and location was great. Commission from production staff sales was always a welcome bonus for a hard month.

    Cons

The sales drive left a team unaccountable in how they treated operations or consumers.

    Advice to Management

Let the team you hired do the job. Micromanagement doesn't work or help.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Really Excellent Benefits. Great health and tuition reimbursement program!!

    Cons

Paid for my Bachelor's Degree and did not allow me to work for them in Civil Engineering capacity due to lack of experience.

    Advice to Management

If you pay for someone's tuition, you may want to allow them to learn with the company so that the degree that was paid for benefits the company, rather than another company. Set up a sliding pay scale where employee makes less than regular pay while learning, then gets to regular pay scale after a year.
