I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent opportunities for advancement, compensation, and relocation. The global diversity creates amazing opportunity. Management cares equally about clients, employees and share holders.

    Cons

I cannot think of any negatives about working at Bank of America. The pay for performance expectation means that everyone is accountable for their own performance. Not a place for the complacent.

    Advice to Management

Keep supporting pay for performance. Keep setting expectations company wide for service to clients, employees and share holders.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Overall it was a great experience. The bank takes care of its people. I was respected, well compensated and mentored. I left the job after some time because of another exciting opportunity but I could have seen myself staying for much longer.

    Cons

The company did not allow for as much professional advancement as I would have liked.

    Advice to Management

Please remember to provide professional advancement opportunities to lower level employees as well as senior management.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The bank supports employees who wish to explore new opportunities and define their own career path. I was supported by senior management to interview for and eventually be hired as a sales specialist after spending several years in a product management role.

    Cons

Internal bureaucratic processes can be very slow - it took 8 months to be hired into the bank and another 5 months to finalize an internal transfer. Employee benefit choices for higher compensated employees are costly and offer limited options.

    Advice to Management

Continue efforts to streamline internal processes to better take advantage of commercial opportunities and build a motivated workforce that is proud of its employer. Expand health care choices of higher compensated employees.
