I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Competitive salary, has some good managers who really care about their staff and want to see them succeed

    Cons

Downside is because financial markets are so competitive and not steady no jobs are promised.

    Advice to Management

I believe some management needs to get more involved

I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great vacation benefits once past band 6; great part time availability for college students

    Cons

Lack of knowledge or leadership for those in management positions Promotions, pay based on favoritism; not work ethic or productivity No flexibility work arrangement despite numerous positions with opportunities for this Pay is NOT competitive related to other financial institutions They offer no platform for employee recommendations on process improvements despite first line users

    Advice to Management

Promote from within based on employee performance and experience Implement a countrywide continuous improvement program that encourages front line workers, and lower managers to contribute ideas for improvement
