    Pros

Benefits are fair. If you work hard you will get rewarded. Lots of opportunities to do different things with the bank.

    Cons

Getting rid of working from home was the reason I stopped working for the bank. Does help if you work in Charlotte.

    Advice to Management

Not to lose touch of what got the company successful.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

Base salary is very competitive. Easy hours; 9-4 Monday thru Friday. If you are half decent you can make great money. Goals are easy to meet if you have built a great referral source in the banks. Unlike most reviewers, I have never replaced a debit card and I rank in the top 10% of FSAs nationally. You do this buy training your bankers and tellers what you get paid on and how to have them refer you business. Next thing...

    Cons

Bank managers think they manage you. They will do everything in there power to make you feel inferior. They will make or break your experience. However, if you are good at motivating and influencing people this can be overcome buy getting the bankers on your side. Once you have the bankers on your side they will get you business because they make $20 per referral.

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing what you are doing. Stop giving the branch managers power and influence over the FSAs. Half these people are runts that should be managing a McDonalds.

I worked at Bank of America

    Pros

good co-worker and smart people all around. The systems were easy and the educational experiances are on par

    Cons

terrible managment that isn't involved in the lower circles. A lot of system down due to technical problems and it is very stricket when it comes to ideas and thoughts that would improve the overall experiance for employees and customers

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees even those who are in entry level positions since they do the job everyday and they actually put time and effort to satisfy the requirment

I worked at Bank of America

    Pros

Worked there for 7 years in the mortgage division. Awesome benefits, growth potential, plenty of on the job and materials testing and training.

    Cons

Very poor management. Since the company is a huge corporation the communication and customer service for both employees and the customers is terrible. Work flow that is implemented by upper management simply is inefficient. Outsourcing is also a huge problem.

    Advice to Management

Stay loyal to the American employees and live up to your name by not outsourcing jobs and fix the terrible customer service that has ruined your reputation.

I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than 9 years

    Pros

Outstanding benefits, the health insurance packages were incredible. The company has a great understanding for personal emergencies - I had taken maternity leave (12 weeks paid), and soon after returning to work my husband was in a major accident and on life support. BoA has an employee family benefit where they will hold your position in qualifying medical emergencies such as this, although unpaid (since my fmla had...
