    Pros

Benefits are fair. If you work hard you will get rewarded. Lots of opportunities to do different things with the bank.

    Cons

Getting rid of working from home was the reason I stopped working for the bank. Does help if you work in Charlotte.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

When I worked there they had the Work From Home program which allowed remote employees the opportunity to stay employed. They paid for internet, phone and office equipment. I worked with good people. When they bought my original company they bridged my years there, so when they laid me off I had enough years to be considered a retiree.

    Cons

They are dissolving the Work From Home program and laying off a lot of people. The ability to advance is not on your merit, but the whims of the managers. It wasn't a horrible place to work. It's a massive corporation so you are just another cog.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good communication, and company sponsored software, chat, email, virtual desktop etc. Good laptop, and lots of online help, self help and training available. Good new technology.

    Cons

quite a lot of of company overhead, testing, personal development plans, corporate form filling, and meetings, which tend to disrupt an already busy schedule.

    Advice to Management

Streamline the disruptions to your workforce. With so many levels, there always seems to be a leadership call to attend.

    Pros

good co-worker and smart people all around. The systems were easy and the educational experiances are on par

    Cons

terrible managment that isn't involved in the lower circles. A lot of system down due to technical problems and it is very stricket when it comes to ideas and thoughts that would improve the overall experiance for employees and customers

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees even those who are in entry level positions since they do the job everyday and they actually put time and effort to satisfy the requirment

    Pros

Worked there for 7 years in the mortgage division. Awesome benefits, growth potential, plenty of on the job and materials testing and training.

    Cons

Very poor management. Since the company is a huge corporation the communication and customer service for both employees and the customers is terrible. Work flow that is implemented by upper management simply is inefficient. Outsourcing is also a huge problem.

    Advice to Management

Stay loyal to the American employees and live up to your name by not outsourcing jobs and fix the terrible customer service that has ruined your reputation.
