I have been working at Bank of America

    Pros

Benefits are very good. The way the company structures employee networks and offers employees to volunteer in their communities is awesome.

    Cons

Too many managers and managers of managers. It enough leaders anywhere. Reduce executive and managers. Have more workers. To be a leader of an area should mean you’ve worked at least a year in the role you are leading. No one above me knows our role functions. Pay has gotten reduced for those with years in. After 5 years I make barely above minimum wage for the company (and two levels of difference).

    Pros

    Great benefits, Great Pay

    Cons

Work six day work weeks, training program not great for external hires. Bare minimum staffing, and expect lot of upset clients about new staffing model.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I loved the job duties and friendly customers (although you do get the unpleasant ones).

    Cons

The micromanagement. Referral goals were silly. I felt uncomfortable about selling customers products they didn't even need.

    Pros

Great pay, and amazing benefits and vacation

    Cons

No work-life balance you work 6 days a week because your centers are 10-5 and you have to hit 40 hours some way. Way to many calls and micro management

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Bank of America is very big on associate development. They encourage you to engage and involve yourself in networking groups and have mentor ship programs as well.

    Cons

Long retail hours Intense pressure for those in relationship manager roles. Management positions are less than desirable knowing you will work 6 days a week and approximately 50 hours per week

I have been working at Bank of America full-time

    Pros

Benefits are great. Love holidays off. Pay is decent, but not worth the stress.

    Cons

Required to work every Saturday. And have to explain why you are taking a Saturday off with your vacation. You get wrote up monthly if you miss a goal no matter how rough the traffic flow is, and yet you are paid incentive quarterly. So you could get wrote up two months and still fund for incentive. Then others could skim through as minimalist not meet goal or fund but meet minimal number to skirt by without a write up. If you want to move up good luck. You get hired and are pegged to be in a specific spot and never move. It is a “friends” game to move up anywhere.
