    Pros

Hours regular 8-4:30 M-F all holiday paid 11 total for a calendar year. Great PTO and benefits package. Structure of written policies and procedures.

    Cons

My department was a mess there was constant changes to executives and senior managers I reported to 3 different people in 8 month period and 2 the next year. Inconsistency from HR on how to deliver and give disciplinary actions. Other managers showed favoritism and special treatment to associates of choice. I was the only female and treated like a Secretary and not a team manager.

    Advice to Management

Need new management on exec level

    Pros

I had the opportunity to work at many different locations and positions and the incentive plan allowed for increased earnings.

    Cons

Cultural change in getting customers to use self service channels (online, mobile, ATM) meant less walk-in traffic and more appointment setting.

    Advice to Management

Encouragement, positive feedback and support will help associates assimilate the new business model.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Despite the position where one starts BoA offers many opportunities across different business verticals; as such, if one is driven and resourceful, the possibilities of experiencing an uptick is very possible.

    Cons

Like many large institutions, navigating the office culture could serve to derail or impede the type of individual who shuns "the office buddy system playbook mentality".

    Advice to Management

Lagging employee performances in most cases is a reflection of poor direct managers who cannot lead. As such, upper level management should ensure that supervisors are properly trained not only to supervise others but also to develop employees strengths.
