    Pros

The pros were the paid holidays that we were given throughout the year and then the two weeks vacation that we had each year.

    Cons

The banking center that I was located in had probably the most incapable management staff. I was very unhappy for the entire ten months that I worked there. Everyday was a struggle with not only my co-workers but also the employees. It was a very depressing place to have to work.

    Advice to Management

Executives need to be more involved with each banking center and not always rely on the Banking Center Manager to keep the banking center in order. Because sometimes they can be the main problem with the banking center.

    Pros

The benefits offered by the company in the way of Health insurance, vacation, community involvement, EAP, and the child care reimbursement are the reasons i stay. If the economy weren't in the shape it was, I would definitely be sending my resume elsewhere.

    Cons

The company has definitely changed over the last 36 months and it isn't a "great place to work" like it use to be. :(. It seems now, Sr. management feels that incentive is something they have an obligation to save the bank, instead of something given to the associates to make them feel rewarded for a job well done.

    Advice to Management

Let's take our own advice...think of yourself as the customer, G.U.E.S.T, customer satisfaction doesn't only mean our external customers. I have a lot of tenured peers that are looking outside of the company just as I am.

    Pros

The ONLY thing I love about working here is the childcare plus program.

    Cons

Its a well hated bank because of there business practices. I feel over worked and under paid. They for performance but the more you perform the less you are paid. Lack of training but get blamed or investigated the moment you make a mistake.

    Advice to Management

Fire ALL management in the cash vault, then rehire new management.

    Pros

Banking hours and holidays. Paid time off is pretty generous at the personal banker level. 3 weeks vacation and 10 sick days.

    Cons

I worked as a Personal Banker for over 4 years and it was the worst experience. This company is completely focused on pushing products on the customer and they put high pressure on their bankers to get people to sign up for things they don't need. They treat you only based on your sales numbers and it's pretty much a glorified retail sales job.

    Advice to Management

Make your employees feel valued and stop putting so much pressure on the sales aspect. It is not the employees' fault that your bank failed and you are desperate to make money that you nickel and dime everyone including customers and employees.

    Pros

    Schedule Flexibility
    Volunteer Services within company
Health Benefits which are not that great but its something
    10 hour working shifts

    Cons

No room for growth out of the building
    Cliquish
Interview process and job duties and description were misleading, never stated that job would be in a call center environment.
Can take up to 110 calls per day with angry customers that think its ok to belittle and use offensive language due to dissatisfaction towards working associates.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be more education and opportunities provided for growth outside of the call center environment. Recruiters need to be more effective when it comes to associates reaching out to them regarding opportunities involving lateral moves to another position.

    Pros

Tuition reimbursement for grad school, child care benefits.

    Cons

Stressful environment with more work processes, procedures and training to be completed in the same time. No overtime but they add on more work every week.

    Advice to Management

Employees are stressed out and afraid to speak the market/regional leadership. Cmes in se region need to visit banks and get to know the customers, markets and teams instead of sending emails demanding impossible outcomes.

    Pros

Benefits are good as well as paid holidays off.

    Cons

No matter how well you do they will try and hold you back for promotion. They treat their employees like crap and expect you to work for pennies. I wouldn't suggest working for this company there are other financial institutions that will treat you better and pay and give recognition for all your hard work.

    Pros

Good benefits, large company so can move anywhere, vast products offered to customers, wonderful access to systems when employee is away from work. User friendly associate internal website.

    Cons

Inept management, ineffective communication of changes, lack of respect for associates, management lacks professionalism, management not willing to develop associates, low pay in comparison to other banks. Management continues to promise promotions but they never materialize. Goals change monthly, making it more difficult or impossible for associate to achieve.

    Advice to Management

Educate yourself. This will ensure you don't feel threatened when a talented, educated associate steps up to the plate.
