    It's one of the best feather-in-the-cap items on your resume, as long as you last more than one calendar year. Your mere employment here makes you more valuable to other companies. Poachers will seek you out.

    Cons

    Out of ~250,000 employees, what team and line of business you work for will fully determine your thoughts on the company. Every division is run like it's own fiefdom with salaries, bonus, perks, scheduling, and flexibility varying wildly. If you want to learn advanced technology like cloud, AI, and block-chain it's great, but the main group that works on those things doesn't pay well, doesn't believe in bonuses for the...

    Advice to Management

    It's cheaper, and much more productive, to retain than recruit - focus on that! Also, annual training on values is great - having front line managers that live by them would be even better.

    More sensitivity when jobs are eliminated - after 15 years with the firm I had only 2 minutes' notice that my job was ending.

    Working in a brach the team feels like family, even with the ups and downs of the workplace. Money is good.

    Cons

    Sales environment, plus client facing jobs. Can face a lot of tough situations. Management will constantly pressure to hit beyond goal.

    Pros

    40 hour work week, generous vacation and employee benefits. Short commutes are emphasized, plus direct connection and exposure to higher up corporate executives. Opportunities to grow as long as you are significantly outperforming your expectations.

    base pay is low compared to many other banks, management focuses on many different behaviors that do not help you at your performance. many technology issues every single day

    our systems are very slow and faulty. We need better systems as well as more straightforward ways to track our behaviors.
