I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)
Excellent paid paternity/maternity leave, many good employees, quarterly bonus plan, adequate training, easy to follow success plan, competitive salary, and numerous locations.
Lack of leadership above branch management, corporate learns on managers to coach out more expensive (more tenured) employees, poor morale among managers/branches, high turnover, and the whole company is run by six sigma analytics. I don't have a problem with making the company run lean, but Bank of America's application of those numbers is flawed. They have a wealth of information, but do not know how to use it or what it means.
Advice to Management
Start valuing people like the banks you purchased did.
