I have been working at Bank of America full-time

    Pros

Great teammates, incredible benefits, company is going in the right direction

    Cons

A lot of your success is directly impacted by your manager.

    Advice to Management

Have regular managerial assessments that measure interpersonal skills as well as operational and sales skills. Managers who are emotionally intelligent and exercise positive motivation are key to everyone's success at the company

I worked at Bank of America part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits were available to part time employees. Commission available if your branch met sales goals.

    Cons

If entire Branch didn't meet goals your pay was significantly impacted.
Management would have me place my overtime in future weeks to avoid paying (illegal and unethical)

    Advice to Management

Start focusing on your customers and stop giving unattainable sales goals to your branches.

I have been working at Bank of America (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great benefits is about it.

    Cons

Where do I begin... Work life balance is non-existent. Pay is marginal at best. Leadership from area executives lack understanding of "One Team" mentality. Customer focus is preached about but not followed through.

    Advice to Management

Your customers require staffing to keep things simple and convenient

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you are a top performer you will be recognized. They like to reward their best employees. They try to listen to their employees.

    Cons

If you don't make referrals or sales goals, fail an audit, make any mistake you will be cut. After all, you are just a number and can be replaced.

    Advice to Management

Stop changing strategies so often. It's difficult to keep up with what focus is. Fix the mortgage department.
