    Pros

Great teammates, incredible benefits, company is going in the right direction

    Cons

A lot of your success is directly impacted by your manager.

    Advice to Management

Have regular managerial assessments that measure interpersonal skills as well as operational and sales skills. Managers who are emotionally intelligent and exercise positive motivation are key to everyone's success at the company

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great benefits, big company with a lot of opportunities, positions available all over the country, diverse work culture

    Cons

Average pay, goals difficult to achieve, a lot of different metrics making it difficult to achieve full commissions

    Advice to Management

The model for the lending consultant position doesn't work, it sets the employee up to fail. Any successful lending consultant will tell the other LCs they achieved their success by ignoring the model and ventured out on their own.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Bank of America part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Benefits were available to part time employees. Commission available if your branch met sales goals.

    Cons

If entire Branch didn't meet goals your pay was significantly impacted. Management would have me place my overtime in future weeks to avoid paying (illegal and unethical)

    Advice to Management

Start focusing on your customers and stop giving unattainable sales goals to your branches.

    Advice to Management

Your customers require staffing to keep things simple and convenient

    Pros

If you are a top performer you will be recognized. They like to reward their best employees. They try to listen to their employees.

    Cons

If you don't make referrals or sales goals, fail an audit, make any mistake you will be cut. After all, you are just a number and can be replaced.

    Advice to Management

Stop changing strategies so often. It's difficult to keep up with what focus is. Fix the mortgage department.

I have been working at Bank of America

    Pros

benefits, opportunity to grow, fairness and respect.

    Cons

uncertainty, great big company sometimes makes it hard to reach the right person.I believe there is a great amount of incentive programs out there for all employees but when it comes time to get it it is a big hassle to get it approved. Wish it was easier to access all those benefits.

    Advice to Management

Take a better look at the managers out there. Sometimes even though you have great intentions it all comes down to how every single manager delivers the message and represents the company, and if that image is not good it really does not matter what your intentions were.
