    Pros

    The managers are extremely knowledgeable and you will learn a ton if you listen. Pay is very good if you know your craft!

    Cons

    The bank partnership needs reduce some of its red tap and allow BAMS associates to participate in their internal meetings

    Promote with in the company instead of an outsider.

    Pros

    Excellent partners and line of products/solutions to sell. Autonomy to prioritize your week and make your own schedule. Residual income is good after first year.

    Cons

    As of 2020 position is being dissolved as a result of First Data and BOA separating. Banc of America Merchant Services LLC will be no longer. Future is uncertain.

    Pros

    What began as a promising career path quickly turned into an abusive, toxic nightmarish routine of gaslighting from leadership. The very few good people I had the pleasure of meeting here have since left for self preservation, or are painfully stuck and trying to find new employment. The only pro is that you’re guaranteed a base salary of 32-34K and subpar benefits.

    Cons

    Think of Wolf on Wall Street minus the strippers and that pretty much accurately portrays this environment. Toxic, misogynistic, repulsive behavior from leadership. Regardless of numerous reports to HR, harassing behavior continues and the victims are often chased out. If you’re a good person, have a family, or generally enjoy life this is NOT the corporation for you. If you have any bit of self respect, you don’t... want to come here. The 5 star reviews left in 2019 are a prime example of the gaslighting as that’s an internal initiative to boost their rating and entice prospective candidates to post - DONT FALL FOR IT! Top performers have quit because of failure to pay commission, employees will lie cheat & steal accounts from each other at the expense of the client and this behavior is condoned and encouraged by leadership. The site executive leads the boys club, condoning reprehensible behavior from his peers at the expense of the sales agents. This company has all the potential to do great things but can’t seem to pry its head from its arse to do the obvious. There are no values, customers suffer and they throw money at useless initiatives but find ways to NOT pay commission to employees.

    Advice to Management

    The only way that I could ever see this company righting the many years of wrongs would be through a direct overhaul of leadership. Start from the top and clean every executive out. They’re all liars and cheats, from the CEO down to the site leaders. Agent managers try their best for associates but are hit with roadblocks from the site executive and above. This place is a trainwreck. But don’t take my word for it,... look at the attrition. They’re bleeding out so many good sales reps they have to post fake reviews to try to recruit new victims.

    Great work life balance. Good bank partnerships. Decent pay.

    Cons

    The comp plan changes every 6 months. BCs aren't making what they made 3 years ago. The company has lack of direction with the BC position as a whole.

    Be transparent about the future of BAMS and the BC position to your employees

    Management promises to micro manage you and set you up for failure with unfair business practices. Management is posting bogus reviews and sent company email out to all employees to post good reviews on Glassdoor...total slime

    1. Company email asking employees to submit good reviews on Glassdoor 2. Offering 5k for referral on new employees because nobody will work here 3. Asked to sell equipment which is half as much at competitors 4. unrealistic goals 5. Bad compensation plan designed to reduce your pay 2yrs running now 6. No a merit raises ever 7. Clover is junk (read the real reviews) 8. No promotions ever unless part of god old... boys club 9. Required to spend all your time with Bank partner who is non supportive 10. Territory assignments and goals are not equal 11. goal setting is not equal some get bigger goals than most not clear and transparent at all 12. Bank partners don't care to support you but your pay is tied to results 13. Bank runs off all good customers anyways 14. Leadership has absolutely no clue on how to run this company or take care of its people 15. There are company values that only apply to employees but not management 16. There is no HR for employees they only protect upper management 17. You will fired for any reason they see fit 18. They look for reasons to write you up Don't walk but run away

    Cons

    A roller coaster working here. Management is untrained, disconnected, pitted against each other. Commission is set up clearly. The company could care less about their employees and most good employees have left or are leaving is the feeling....

    Advice to Management

    Don't motivate your employees with preschool type management where you micro manage the wrong activities and treat people like small children. We are professionals who take our jobs seriously and our self motivated as we stated in our interviews and it's on our job descriptions. Stop nickle and diming ways to not pay people for incentive. Make it a clear incentive like Heartlands for example. Find a fair rate that... maintains ethical and sustainable growth for us and our clients and pay it.
