    Bank of America brand, partnership with First Data

    Cons

    Senior leadership at the top doesn't recognize the dysfunctional second line leaders in place running the sales organization. Front line leaders do their capable best, but the sales force lacks the tools, direction and support necessary to be successful, which has driven such high turnover in the Business Consultant roles, most notably in Business Banking. Senior leadership drives with intimidation and fear and... lacks any true leadership characteristics. Sad state of affairs.

    Micromanagement, compensation plan changes to frequently, less beneficial since they went public

    Pros

    One of the fastest moving industries - provides sales associates an opportunity at "business ownership", and opportunity to reap what you sow $. Engaged with employees, they listed to feedback and take action. Client centric, evolving technology, GREAT people. Amazing bank partnership.

    Cons

    Sales is not for everyone: You must be a self-disciplined, organized, person with a HUNGER to compete and succeed, while ALWAYS doing what's right. Put others ahead of yourself - is that a con?? maybe not for YOU! :)

    Keep listening to and putting associates FIRST.

    Pros

    What began as a promising career path quickly turned into an abusive, toxic nightmarish routine of gaslighting from leadership. The very few good people I had the pleasure of meeting here have since left for self preservation, or are painfully stuck and trying to find new employment. The only pro is that you’re guaranteed a base salary of 32-34K and subpar benefits.

    Cons

    Think of Wolf on Wall Street minus the strippers and that pretty much accurately portrays this environment. Toxic, misogynistic, repulsive behavior from leadership. Regardless of numerous reports to HR, harassing behavior continues and the victims are often chased out. If you’re a good person, have a family, or generally enjoy life this is NOT the corporation for you. If you have any bit of self respect, you don’t... want to come here. The 5 star reviews left in 2019 are a prime example of the gaslighting as that’s an internal initiative to boost their rating and entice prospective candidates to post - DONT FALL FOR IT! Top performers have quit because of failure to pay commission, employees will lie cheat & steal accounts from each other at the expense of the client and this behavior is condoned and encouraged by leadership. The site executive leads the boys club, condoning reprehensible behavior from his peers at the expense of the sales agents. This company has all the potential to do great things but can’t seem to pry its head from its arse to do the obvious. There are no values, customers suffer and they throw money at useless initiatives but find ways to NOT pay commission to employees.

    Advice to Management

    The only way that I could ever see this company righting the many years of wrongs would be through a direct overhaul of leadership. Start from the top and clean every executive out. They’re all liars and cheats, from the CEO down to the site leaders. Agent managers try their best for associates but are hit with roadblocks from the site executive and above. This place is a trainwreck. But don’t take my word for it,... look at the attrition. They’re bleeding out so many good sales reps they have to post fake reviews to try to recruit new victims.

    Pros

    The company is very clear on their vision, goals and strategies going into each year. Goals begin at the company level and trickle down to each department and individual so each has a clear understanding of expectations and what they are striving to attain. Each team is different, but there is great cohesiveness between teams with open communication. Excellent compensation and benefits packages, work flexibility... for some roles (work-from-home in some cases) and a focus on being yourself at work through many diversity initiatives are all a plus. Career growth and advancement is available for those wishing to expand their current role or move to new roles and ready to meet the challenge.

    Hours can be long during peak periods of activity, and timeliness of work output can be hindered by lengthy processes; however, progress is being made. The pros outweigh the cons.

    Keep up the great momentum! Continue to build and foster passion from within the whole organization. Provide avenues for employee and client feedback and continue to listen and make changes for improvement based on that feedback.
